My wife and I visited in early March 2018. The visit was well run and very informative. The information about Robert Todd Lincoln was surprising and very interesting. The setting was great and The docents were well informed. This was a very pleasant stop.

I spent an amazing afternoon at Hildene and was amazed at the staff's knowledge. Well worth it to pay the extra $7 for a guided tour! Incredible artifacts and a must-visit if you are in the area.

It was a gloomy and overcast day but the grounds were still absolutely beautiful! The staff were soo knowledgeable and genuinely excited to share all they knew about the history of Hildene. We highly recommend visiting.

My husband just happened on Hildene while poking around online. Our interest in American history has piqued (thanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda!) and as a result we’ve started visiting many points of interest in the Northeast, not all relating to the Revolutionary War. We’ve been to Philadelphia...More
