During our daughter's Northeast college tour, we saw some beautiful ones, Colgate's a close second, but Middlebury takes the cake. Large campus, pretty views even in winter, buildings are both historic and modern at the same time.

We had a great visit at Middlebury. The admissions staff was knowledgeable and friendly as were the all of the students encountered on the campus. The college has extensive facilities that are updated and current. Considerable effort has been made in assuring architectural consistency across the campus. It is interesting to note that the college is close to meeting their... More

Quintessential New England college campus, but with the twist of having all marble buildings rather than the brick structures or colonial clapboard buildings at the Ivy Leagues and places like Williams College. Very pretty to walk through, and the light gray color must look terrific in winter when snow covers the ground. Even without a prospective student tour, this is... More

The campus fits the picture of a classic New England location for a college. The older buildings are an architectural delight. The athletic center's facilities are spectacular.

The campus is beautiful, the buildings are an eclectic mix of old and new, and the tour guides are excellent. It was the middle of a language program for students, so it was fascinating to watch the students interact.

A campus visit with a granddaughter who is college shopping is a wonderful experience. This little ivy is a jewel in small town Vermont and offers a first class educational opportunity for those elite students accepted by this excellent liberal arts institution. Walk the path with future leaders. Do not miss.

This lovely New England college offers excellent education to its 2400 students, access to skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities, and a selection of great restaurants and shops. It's worth a visit even if you do not have college bound children, simply for exposure to a lively Vermont town particularly if you can hit its Chilifest in March, or its... More

We are biased as we live in the next town but we LOVE Middlebury. I have audited many classes at the college and attended many public events - first rate all around. We love how the college welcomes the community. If you are passing through or nearby, don't miss this quintessentially beautiful campus! The campus is incredibly well cared for... More
