They Have Everything

Store full of clutter and cramped but they have everything. Over all pretty decent and lovely. Would recommend and go to again.

It is hard to believe that this old time mix of products still has a place in our modern shopping mall world. It is always a delight to just wonder around the aisles and see all the crazy things this store stocks. Great place to find that thing you don't know you want!

This not a tourist attraction. It's a genuine, old-time general store where local people come to shop. Creaky wooden floors, narrow aisles, shelves crammed with absolutely everything from car parts to baby clothes to puff pastry. Kids eating ice cream on a bench outside, even a guy sharpening knives . I can't believe how many times we've driven right by... More

When I moved here 15 years ago, I badly needed a tiny and unusual piece of hardware. Got to the store at closing time. One of the clerks spent 15 minutes with me, on hands and knees, going through tiny drawers in the hardware section until we found it. "How much?" I asked after thanking him. "Thirteen cents," he said.... More

A must-see for any visitor to Norwich! And be sure to see it all--including the area behind the meat counter. Their motto is "If we don't have it, you don't need it!" Their special T-shirts are ones kids of all ages love.

Remarkable store! Their motto is "If we don't have it, you don't need it!" And it's true. For example, I saw a gentleman ask for a small part to fix his 1950's car (he just stopped by during a car rally). The answer was I think we might have just the thing. Ten minutes later the happy driver was on... More

The only place in the world that you can buy fine French wine and feed for your horse under the same roof. Dan & Whit's is at the heart of Norwich, VT. Friendly service (ask where something is and they TAKE you there, not just point you in the direction. They live up to their motto: "If we don't have... More

This place looks small from the outside but it goes ON AND ON! I've never seen a country store this HUGE inside. Literally they have everything you could possible need or want.
