I usually try to write very descriptive, in-depth reviews. Not this time. Bottom line...don't let the $25 per car price dissuade you. Just do it. If you're disappointed, it's because you didn't pay enough attention.

I wish I knew what this road was like. We went in an SUV and I really felt like we going to go over the cliff a few times. I rather take the road to Mount Mansfield and do a hike there. Giving it two...More

Yes, there is $ 38 fee for a car and 4 occupiers. But drive is great and the views are even greater. Unlike Gondolas, this gives ample opportunity to explore nature and Fall views.

Road is in good condition. Nice view once you reach the summit. Plan two hours to drive and spend on this trip.

It is worth the fee, especially on a clear day. Most of the road is not paved, but it is well maintained, with the exception of a couple of spots that were affected due to heavy rains. There was plenty of parking at the top....More

This is a bit pricey, $25 but does afford some beautiful views of the surrounding Green Mountains. I would recommend despite the cost.
