We decided to try out this easy hike to Sterling Falls when we found the Moss Glenn Falls area was crowded with visitors. Sterling Falls Gorge was an easy hike with beautiful views all the way along the trail.

Enjoyed the trail and interpretive signage. Beautiful scenery and better understanding of the area's geology.

When trying to drive there you'll probably lose cell phone service but, keep going on road, it seems like forever but it's there.  It's a decent gorge.  The "waterfall" is not as good as Moss Glen Falls, but this is better trail overall.  It's an...More

Don't miss taking this beautiful short hike in Stowe, VT! It is easy + well marked going along the gorge. I suggest keeping a hand on little ones though that might venture too close to the edge.

This was about a 45 minute loop and very easy. You walk down into the gorge, make sure to have anti slip shoes. It is about a 20 minute beautiful drive from Stowe. From there are a number of other trails.

We biked and the trails were true to the map's description. Summit was great, but for more advanced riders. Wish there was a bathroom or at least a compostable toilet. Great place to sit and watch water flow.

Great short, easy hike. My 2 year-old granddaughter actually walked down to the falls. Then went in the back carrier for most of the walk back up. So good for kids or people who want a quick hike. Can be done round-trip in a half-hour....More

There is a nice interpretative trail along the falls that offer a decent amount of information about the geology of the area. The water didn't seem to be flowing as dramatically as I saw ina picture downtown. I am unsure if in August it just...More

The gorge is a casual walk through wooded terrain, not to steep but can be slippery . Great views of the gorge and the river. Plenty more trails to walk and bike if you want to spend a few hours exploring .

Dogs are everywhere in the area. I saw no signs indicating dogs are not welcome. It's a beautiful spot - enjoy it with your dog.
