The Park is narrow and runs along both sides of the river. Not a lot to do except enjoy nature but we were able to see the last of the fall colors and found that there was history to the park area as well. Not just the 19th century mill buildings along the falls themselves but also a bit of... More

This is a nice clean park with places for a picnic, clean and tidy. Adjacent to a Lake Champlain waterway it offers photo ops as well.

Relatively undeveloped, although there are porta-potties and a few picnic tables and grills. Set along the Otter near the water falls - good view from the east end of the park. Especially dramatic after heavy rain in the mountains. Some boat dockage available. Nice spot to spend some time!

How ever you find yourself in Vergennes, the falls is a wonderful, quite stop. Walk along the trail a way or just stop and have a picnic. You can walk up along the power house at the base of the falls for a close up view. Or even walk up to the old Pump house and look over the falls.... More

Shortly after our visit we went to Shelburne museum and saw a painting by Washburn of the exact spot we sat by. It was a wonderful experience and glad we made our stop there

This park is clearly a spot for locals. It has a boat ramp and parking for vehicles with and without trailers. There are spots for cookouts. There is room to run a dog. There is an active osprey nest. There is plenty of shore to cast a line. It is small, and with the nearby falls, the creek and the... More

Falls Park is a great place to photograph water falls, kayak, fish from, sit and relax. The park can be entered from the north or south end of the bridge over the Otter Creek.

This a beatiful place. Access by car, boat or bike. I went there by boat, and put my ancer directly in the front of the falls. Beautiful view. You can walk to the city some ggod restaurant, and if you wednesday, there are a city market in the central city in AM only
