In truth, their red wines are not too good. The wine slushy is awesome in the summer. The white wines are good. The ambiance and views are fantasic. As far as Virginia wineries go, definitely visit it. The Appalachian Trail is nearby, if you want to make a day trip out of it. I would recommend both.

The view from this winery is exquisite and the little tasting room is overlooking the valley. Our server was not the friendliest but she was knowledgeable about the wines. The wines were decent with one stand out, the White Nights 2013. The flavor was smooth with a touch of sweetness. The fruit ones were okay. The Peach wasn't overpowering and... More

Wine was good as was the service. View and music boosts it to 5 stars! This setting is not to be missed. Food smelled delicious although we just came for drinks.

This place, both the physical building and the surrounding views, are stunning. We did a wine tasting and they had a great variety of wines. It would be hard not to find one you wanted to buy a bottle of! There is lots of outdoor seating with beautiful views of the mountains and the vineyards. They also have a small... More

I give this place 2 stars for the location and views. We did not have a good experience otherwise. First, my wife and I both opted for the red tasting. The samples given were very small in comparison to other wineries in the area. We settled on the Cab Sav and decided to get a bottle along with the brie... More

While others enjoyed the spiced wine chiller, the Raven Rocks red was vinegary, not the promised berry and plum flavors. An $8 gamble lost. 😟 However the views are great from the deck. Folks seemed friendly. Plus there's a variety of food

This is a great place to come and enjoy an afternoon. The wine is delicious, and the staff is excellent at giving tastings. The inside seating area and decks are perfect to drink wine, eat snacks, chat with friends, and enjoy the gorgeous view!

This place is a lot of fun. The atmosphere is friendly and we enjoy their wines. We have an enjoyable time with a particular server who is very personable and has a great sense of humor. We did a tasting and had a bottle out on the patio over looking the mountains. There was live music outside and an old... More

The relaxing environment of Twin Oaks Tavern & Winery seems different than many Shenandoah Valley wineries. The casual environment seems to encourage visitors to make a wine selection [bottle or glass] and just relax on the deck, enjoy the view, and, at certain times, the entertainment. Place has a certain vibe of your neighborhood tavern, “where everyone knows you name.”... More
