If you want to see this, get ready for a long ride. There is rest area where people come to fish, buy souvenir, fresh(?) sea food. Nice sea breeze and good area to stretch your legs or to come with your family for picnic (if...More

Took a day trip across the bridge. It was so awesome to drive over the bridge and the view is breath taking. My only disappointment was I thought if you came back the same day you got a discount. Well it is only if you...More

I always love crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Driving over the water with only the roadway in front of you is amazing. When you enter the tunnels, it is surreal to see the roadway disappear ahead of you. As I have aged, I now prefer...More

This is a great drive, very weird when you are in the middle of the sea and the bridge disappears in front of you, the tunnels are a bit scary because you have to maintain a speed between 45 and 55. I suppose 26 dollars...More

We drove this to do a kayaking event on Eastern Shore. A bit of construction going on but we maintained proper speeds. This is a wonderful drive.

Driving the length of this bridge at 21 miles end to end is one experience never to be missed. At one side you have the Chesapeake Bay, the other, the Atlantic Ocean. Getting to the Eastern Shore of Virginia is never like the other side...More

This is the coolest water crossing I've ever traveled. It consists of an expanse on bridge, then a portion of tunnel, then another expanse of bridge, then another tunnel, finishing with a section of bridge. It is unlike any other crossing in the area. It...More

So many people are scared of this place. It's actually allot of fun. It was better when the restaurant and fishing pier were open, but still lots of fun

Just love it! Take it every weekend between Virginia Beach and Cape Charles! Enjoy seeing all the fishing boats, sometimes dolphins, or monarch butterflies migrating south! Yesterday saw a ship outbound up close! Only $5 each way if you return on the same day. Check...More

Yes. If the crabbers are having a good day you can usually buy them right off the dock at the Town Harbor in Cape Charles. Any of the staff at the Harbor can put you in touch with a local crabber. Try around 12-2.
