We got there early to beat the crowds, which was a wise decision. We had the place practically to ourselves and the tour was informative and the grounds beautiful. Perfect day!!

My husband and I took the tour, it was very interesting. What a treasure this place is. Great for history buffs or anyone who is interested in history. Beautiful grounds. We walked to the family burial grounds and took the shuttle back.

There is potential for a line at the door for tickets, so advance makes sense. Saturday morning on May 19 at 10 am is probably ok in terms of lines to get in.
