There are a lot of vineyards in Charlottesville and we decided to start with this one. It is only a tasting room so there are no tours. The tasting room itself isn't all that large and when it's busy, it gets crowded with the tasters and the people purchasing items. Just off the tasting room is a large covered area... More

My wife and I stopped by here on a whim over Valentine's Day. We are sure glad we did. Absolutely beautiful views. (Even during winter) I imagine Fall is truly spectacular. The wine tasting room sits on top of a small mountain and gives amazing views of the valley. There are two outdoor patios to enjoy the views as well... More

Top-notch quality tasting room with somewhat of a wide selection. Gift shop has most any Trump related merchandise you might expect. No helicopter rides though. :^(

We recently took a trip to the NE and our friends had arranged a trip/tour of the Trump Winery. We had no idea there even was a Trump winery. Had a pleasant tour, lunch and picked up a few bottles of the wine to bring home.

My friend and I stopped by for a tasting. We went to the outside bar which had a beautiful view. We selected the 3 tastings for $12 and declined to try an additional wine for $3. The staff member we interacted with was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered us to try the additional wine. The sparkling wine was very... More

They wine is supermarket jug quality despite the big price tag and the opulent surroundings. A must avoid.

Zero customer service. We showed up later on a Saturday afternoon and there was no acknowledgment from anyone and no ability to reach the tasting table. They serve food. Again, no way to determine how to get a table. The clientele are clearly going there because of the name and there is a TV above the bar that is running... More

I will start by saying I am a non-political person. This was our second visit to the Trump winery in the past three years. You will find in comparison to other wineries, the facilities here are excellent and a little above the other wineries. However, the wine tasting this time was hurried and we were made to feel inferior and... More

Was not impressed with any of the wines so did not buy any this time. All of them tasted as if they were watered down. However, the staff was great even though it was crazy crowded. The scenic view outside was amazing. To be fair, will probably wait a year and come back to give thus winery another try.

We visited on a drizzly/overcast Sunday. This was the first Virginia winery we had visited in some 30 years. Living an hour from upstate New York wine country, we did not know what to expect. The tasting room was somewhat crowded but the woman who gave us the tasting was both friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed with most of... More
