After reading how nice this park was we had to experience it ourselves. One of the original state parks, it's very well kept and has something for everyone. We had our travel trailer and had no difficulty finding a space in White Oak campground. There...More

This was our first visit to Douthat State Park, and we enjoyed it a lot. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very cozy and rustic. The bed was comfortable. The cabin included a fireplace, a small fully-stocked kitchen, bathroom, and an outdoor...More

The park is truly lovely. Everything is in good repair. The campsites are spaced out and fairly level. There is virtually no cell service and no wifi.

September 25-27, 2017. We found our way to the registration area with no trouble and checked in. We were told that there’s no TV. OK, we knew that. We brought our own entertainment (laptop and tablet). And there’s no WI-FI. OK, we knew that, but,...More
