Great waterfall which could be capitalized more for tourism. You are not allowed to go down to the waterfall (certainly does not mean you cannot) but there is I guess a risk of a fine and it looks like it may not be the safest...More

Such a great view. short walk to the lookout spot. The water looks so inviting but there are lots of signs saying no trespassing or hiking near the the waterfall.

We parked just before being able to see the falls at a spot provided for parking and picnicking. It was an easy short walk to a flat wooden walkway overlooking the falls. Even my 90 year old mom could have made it over to see...More

The falls are beautiful and in a setting that does not require a hike to view them. Park about 50 yards from the viewpoint and walk to the overlook. Although there were a few people wading below and above the falls, they were not intrusive...More

Take a ride in the country and be amazed at this water fall. Alot of things to see in the area but this can be so peaceful and quiet. We have been in both warm and cold weather, the ice forms can be amazing.

Worth the trip along some windy roads! There is easy parking on the north side of the falls. There was no one there when we went. You CANNOT enter the falls. Strictly a great view from an overlook.

Only by luck did I spot the waterfall on US 220 North out of Covington, Va. And luckily again, there was a pull-off area to park and walk back to the overlook of the falls. The water was in full force from recent May rains...More

"Techincally" now no, But everyone from 3 to 65 can be seen swinging a leg over and climbing on down. I haven't seen it being enforced at all. I'd say proceed at your own discretion. 😉
