This was a last minute stop on a Sunday afternoon day trip. What a fun find! The tasting room is in a barn corn crib and is interesting on it’s own. They have a nice selection of wines and a hard cider. The host was...More

I am been to several Virginia Wineries. This one is truly unique. The winery is in an old corn crib, so downstairs is all open-air and upstairs is warm and cozy. There are fire pits outside to keep the outdoor seating more appealing for a...More

I hadn’t heard of this place and was about skeptical. Their wines pleasantly surprised me. Their tasting room is a beautiful indoor-outdoor space. Outside they have tables and chairs to enjoy the gorgeous views.

This was my favorite winery of the day as it was more down-home. When you leave the main road and get on to the dirt road, you pass a couple of cornfields and then come to the vines and the winery itself. The tasting is...More

Beautiful place and a great place to visit on a sunny day. I visited the winery for the Volkswagen Car Show.

The place is small, so it doesn't take many to fill the place up. However, if you go on a nice day (like we did) you can sit outside. Bring fold-up chairs, though, just in case it's busy outside too. The day we were there...More

Thanks for visiting Jim. We pride ourselves in being a small, rustic farm winery that uses the original 70-year old barn for our tasting room and the existing pasture space for our seating area. We currently have seating for 80 guests outside, and seating for...More

Stopped in this weekend and was very impressed with the owner's knowledge, the wonderful venue and some good wines. A few aren't his own but understandable as he is just starting out. Old converted barn with a nice rustic theme. Plenty of property to enjoy...More

This is in an older barn. It was kind of a maze to figure out where the room was 😀. But the sign led us to the room. The tasting room is small, but cute. We were not fans of the wines. They were actually...More

Thank you for posting a review. As you noted, we have been open about 9 months and sold out of three of our seven wines. We will be bottling the 2016 vintage of our whites in late April and by May should have 8 (or...More

We stopped in on a beautiful, warm day in February. This was our first time going after hearing about it from several other friends who are into wine as much as us. We had heard the wines were young and we might not enjoy them,...More

Thank you for your visit to our winery over the weekend. We have only been open 8 months and we already sold out of two of our other white wines. We normally have a dry, barrel-fermented Chardonnay to compliment our off-dry (2% residual sugar) Viognier...More

Beautiful spot off the beaten path to be sure. Available for events up to 1000 people so I was told. Rustic bard serves as the setting for tasting in the winter. Wines are good especially if you add the grown in Virginia handicap to the...More

Thanks for stopping by Matt. Yes, we have hosted events of around 1,000 people here before on our 25-acre farm. We have done ~350+ person wedding reception, charity concerts, and we will be hosting a VW car show in the Spring of 2017. Glad you...More
