Cassie mentioned this place to me and I had to visit. I was amazed at the amount of Civil War history took place basically steps from everywhere in town. Brandy Station is a short 10 minute drive and has history that will amaze you.

We took our 3 year old granddaughter to the Museum and she was enthralled. Many things to see, touch and extra's to do during the Renaissance Festival. This is a comprehensive gathering of many of Culpeper's wonderful history. Be sure to take lots of pictures!

The Museum has moved to the Depot - at end of Davis Street where you catch Amtrak... children and adults alike will love the dinosaur tracks and the history - also a play area for children. Wonderful Civil War Exhibits - plan to stay awhile.
