Grab your friends and family and come to Kings Dominion - Virginia's ultimate 400-acre destination

for summertime fun! With more than 60 rides, shows and attractions including the largest coaster collection on the East Coast, Planet Snoopy, our Peanut's themed children's area and WaterWorks, a 20-acre water playground which is included in your park admission. Kings Dominion is Virginia's only destination offering two parks for the price of one. We have everything you need for creating lifelong memories.

Our 40th Celebration starts in 2014 and offers magnificent experiences you won't find anywhere else! While it's our birthday, this celebration is all about you! We've taken all of the thrills, chills, smiles and dazzling moments of our history and crafted them into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Don't miss it!

To end the day, stay for Dominion at Dusk - a KD40 Nighttime Celebration! Start off with the vibrant lights and sounds of Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular and the stunning water and lights display of our fully refurbished International Street Fountain. The party really gets going as the Grande Bandstand and the midways of International Street come to life with our all-new block party, Ignite the Night! featuring an impressive cast singing some of your favorite hits! And the party isn't complete without a magnificent display of fireworks lighting up the nighttime skies above the park.

Open daily during the summer; weekends in the spring and fall.

The title of this review should serve as a healthy challenge to both roller coaster enthusiasts and thrill seekers alike. If your family visits the Kings Dominion and neglects to ride the Intimidator 305 at least once, you have not gotten your money's worth. Although hesitant at first, the lads, my three nephews, and myself were treated to perhaps the... More

I love Kings Dominion. We go every season and get gold season passes. The rides are extremely fun and there is a waterpark in the park so you don't have to leave and go anywhere else. They have an excellent dining plan. Every meal at the park is usually 14.99. If you're a frequent goer to this park the dining... More

Having been too many theme parks, this one definitely is better than the average. The Intimidator and Volcano are both awesome and many of the other coasters are great too. It's not the nicest park, but certainly isn't dirty or run down looking either. Waterpark isn't much. Food is expensive. But definitely worth it. Haunt is a lot of fun... More

This place is great at Halloween. We were able to take our kids into some of the haunted houses, and the kids had a great time just watching people get scared at the scare zones. I think it's kind of a joke that they sell "no scare" necklaces for kids, for $10 a pop (I think it's $10)....They should be... More

Kings Dominion has always been fun. When my daughter was small we used to tent camp at the campground for a week and, always had a great time, as the park isnt so crowded on weekdays. It was kind of like our own park, no lines just fun. I understand that they have continously kept the ride events updated and... More

The worst experience ever. We waited in line for 5 roller coasters and 4 of them broke down while waiting. The haunted areas were not very good, there were better ones that you had to pay extra to enter. There was an average 20 minute wait for the dirty bathrooms. The wait to get out of the parking lot was... More

To be honest with you I thought this theme park had the most exciting and the most awesome rides in the whole entire world. I also thought the food that I brought while I was enjoying this theme park was very good it was so good I just had to buy more. I just wish this park had more shows... More

Reserve Williamsburg was great and we go into the park with no trouble for a good price. However we waited 2 hours to ride the big roller coaster (it only had one track working out of two) and when we were 20 people from the front the shut the ride down! What a waste of time! In addition the frightening... More

The Andaconda has been my favorite ride since I was a child! My family drove 11 hours just to come to Kings Dominion, we hit up Six Flags Over Georgia on the way to Kings Dominion. And Kings Dominion close Six Flags Over Georgia away. I just love Kings Dominion I wish they had a few more of them around... More

Awful!! Went Saturday, October 29 for the first time in about 10 years. Very quickly remembered why we haven't been and have spent our money at Busch Gardens instead. There was a large group of us that included adults and children. We waited in line for Volcano for a long time and ended up walking out after people coming out... More
