Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was my first and last time at Tom Leonard's. The male in the seafood department was rude and doesn't need to be doing customer service. This happened on Friday Oct. 20, 2023, around 10:50-11:00 am. There was a woman in front of me getting crab legs from the same male out of a cart. When it was my turn he told me to get the ones in the freezer. The ones in the freezer were not fresh looking. Another customer didn't like the way the crab legs looked either. I went back and asked the male for the ones out of the basket and he told me that he didn't have a number in order for me to get them. I mentioned that the lady in front of me got them. He got a whole attitude and stomped to the cart and slammed my crab legs on the weigher. This goes to show that there needs to be more training with employees and if you don't like your job than you should've went to college and picked a better career choice.

I stopped going to this place after I had to return some meats that smelled and fish that was old a few months ago. Yesterday I went for one thing and that was popcorn bag of the mixed cheese popcorn and caramel popcorn it is bad enough that you pay a $1 more for two bags now I figured let me get one bag it was good in the past $4 for one bag is excessive. Anyway, the caramel popcorn in the bag was stale, it was so hard and sticky to my teeth and just stale! I was pissed and will again never even get one thing from this place again. I am so tired of having to take time out of my day to return anything just not worth the trip anymore. So done with them will shop at a store nearby for truly fresh items, prices here are too high for the foods/popcorn you get. Not as fresh as advertised!

I've been going to Tom Leonard's for years, and have found the products they offer to be the highest quality and freshest you can find anywhere. I live an hour and a half drive from Tom Leonard's and I have never been disappointed when visiting his store. The employees there are the best of the best, and couldn't possibly be any friendlier or more helpful. I'm on his mailing list and watch for the specials he runs on fresh fish which can save a ton of money, and Andrew, who works in that department, is the best. Where else can you find the owner of a business walking through his store and randomly thanking customers for visiting his establishment. I happily rate Tom Leonard's five stars. It just doesn't get any better. Cliff

Every time we go we say never again. I think they must train employees to be unfriendly, the check out people don't so much as even look at you. Also, the criteria for working behind the seafood counter must be "Old and grumpy" I'm irritated with the lack of customer service every time I leave. Produce is okay.

One of the few times I have been there and will never go back.
The seafood department had a sign for jumbo lump crab $24.95 so the person behind the counter took a can and shoved it into a bag. I didn’t want to appear rude so I did not ask to see it. When we got home it was marked lump but was not what I would Even consider regular or claw meat. It was hardly edible and the charge was for jumbo lump!

This should be your "go to" store for food and drink. Their prices are competitive; quality is excellent. Their produce is wonderfully displayed. No long lines, generally, at checkout. A pleasure to shop there.

I make a trip to Tom Leonard’s about once a week to stock up on vegetables and fruits. I know what prices my regular grocer charges, and TL is comparable if not better, and usually the produce looks fresher. You can find most other grocery items there, but I don’t think it’s diverse enough to grocery shop there exclusively, plus I find other items more expensive.

Friendly staff, well laid out store that is easy to shop with products presented well in a clean environment. Produce and meats are far better than the other chain stores. You can find some cheaper prices if you don't shop their sales, but the quality is worth the difference!
