We have attended a few youth programs with JMU at this location. Very neat for adults and kids to look around and watch. Fairly high tech setup, but hours seem to be fairly limited. Highly recommend touring this area when they have a event going...More

Very interesting. The first show is mainly focused on the children. Second presentation was more of an adult related. We still enjoyed both of them.

Huge Planetarium seating area inside the JMU campus building. Feel as if you are going on a trip through the universe; definitely worth the fee. They also have a collection of rocks, meteorite.

Impressive ultra-high resolution digital projection system that allows for realistic projections of stars and planets. The programs change throughout the year. Christmas program and night sky programs based on seasons are informative and entertaining. Narrators have always been well informed and good speakers.
