More
Keswick Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery situated on the historic Edgewood Estate. Owners Al and Cindy Schornberg chose this land to produce their award winning wines because of its unique terroir and beautiful scenery. Winemaker Stephen Barnard's philosophy is to focus on quality instead of quantity and produce the best wines possible. He has garnered numerous awards for Keswick's wines including the Virginia Governor's Cup for the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon and Best of Class for the 2008 Viognier. Other varietals produced include Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Norton, Petite Verdot, Syrah, Touriga, and Verdejo. The tasting room is relaxing and inviting and is open daily for tastings from 9-5 excluding major holidays. During the summer, the tasting room will stay open until 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

This was my first visit to Keswick, and I loved it! Elizabeth gave our group of 10 a fantastic, entertaining, knowledgeable tasting. Their wines were delicious, and she paced our tasting so that we really had time to appreciate the wines--not a cattle-call, rush you...More

We were excited to visit Keswick on our winery trip but were very disappointed. It is a beautiful winery and was very crowded when we were there. We did the tasting and dumped each of the wines without finishing the very small sample provided. There...More

Attended a wedding at the main house and grounds. This is the kind of place and setting that you can simply enjoy a glass of wine and let your senses do the rest. What views! The house is beyond gorgeous. The vineyards are right at...More

Keswick was one of the few vineyards that I had not been to in the Charlottesville area. The patio/outdoor seating section is huge and it was great to sit outside and admire the scenery while having a glass of wine. (I'm a huge fan of...More

Helpful staff and excellent range of wines. Enjoyed a picnic lunch on the patio with a bottle of their Angel Wing Red.

We attended a family wedding here and it was very nice. The grounds are well cared for and the house is beautiful. The service was held on the lawn by the vines and the reception was in a huge tent. The place is obviously well...More

Decided to start our evening with wine in this vineyard's garden setting before coming home to grill. Was a beautiful ride and great setting with decent wine. Will do it again.

This vineyard has a wonderful feeling and atmosphere. It was a great place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon, with live music. As vineyards in the Albemarle County go, both the tastings and the wine by the bottle are more expensive than many others...More
