Had a awesome vist to this magnificent and spectacular battlefield and small national cemetery. the cemetery and national cemetery ware well taken care of and by the super friendly and informative park staff. :)

Beautiful spot. Plenty of hiking trails. Not much to see from the car. Plan to hike. Interpretive walks. Portable bathroom only. No trash containers.

No, this is not Gettysburg or Antietam, but the site of this battle is worth a quick stop. Take a while to walk around and see the cemetery. For a Civil War buff like me, this is a hidden gem.
