We visit every time we come to Lexington. Interesting guide in chapel; lovely museum downstairs. Tribute to a great man who loved Virginia.

This is one of the oldest institutions for learning in our Country. The grounds were nice. If you're not already in the area, I'd say don't plan a trip here. If you're in the area already, it's a nice stop.

Definitely worth a visit. The history provided is excellent. Shows what a great and spiritual man Robert E Lee was. More should be done to promote this hallowed place. We took about an hour there. Could have stayed longer.

If you are a civil war buff, you can't miss taking the tour and learning about a great General for both the Union and the Confederacy.
