Was leaving Lynchburg and wanted to take a run downtown........stopped in here.......and found it an excellent small museum based naturally on Lynchburg history. Exhibits were perfectly laid out.......I respected what I did see.......but did not have that much time. Would recommend.........donations only required.

I especially enjoyed the timeline of Lynchburg, on the first floor. We didn't have time to see all of the exhibits downstairs before the museum closed for the day.

My husband especially loved this outing! He loved all of the history plus the terraced stairs dedicated to all the different wars and branches of the military! I know we would definately take this walk again to find a little more history in downtown lynchburg.
