My husband and I were surprised to see several “new vineyards” near Middleburg. Four or five years ago, they weren’t here. We tried Chysalis based on some new friends from a cruise who enjoyed it so much they became members. Facilities are nice and large,...More

My Sons of the American Revolution chapter had a meeting at Chrysalis Vineyards. They hosted us in their underground cellar, which was a great place. The wine tasting was tasty and educational. I bought many bottles of wine.

I took out of town guests here on Saturday, April 1. The wine tasting was conducted in the basement in a nondescript room. Could have been in a warehouse or a storage facility. Absolutely no ambiance. For $15 a person, the wine tasting should offer...More

Thanks Jim! Very generous and warm atmosphere. The wine was tasty and well presented. We spent quite awhile at this vineyard.

The grounds are beautiful and plentiful. It's historic and off the road, yet convenient. Of course there's wine tasting, and we've brought our own picnic basket. It's not too far from DC, or even Fairfax, VA.

Nice views outside but not sure why we got our wine in an ice bag, strange it was in a bag and not an ice bucket. Very strange and just wanted a bottle and was a little wait.
