Absolutly beautiful place to visit, took the dog and he loved it, parked in the Quarry CP and took us about 1 hour and 15 mins (with bench breaks to take in the scenary). To get all the way round. So worth a trip out!

It takes about 40 minutes to walk round this lovely reservoir. The path is a little uneven in places but mostly good.

Visited here on a very hot Sunday afternoon and enjoyed our walk. Lots of farm animals near the pathway at various points and lots of great views.

Went on the 4.9-mile walk . . . ended up being about 6-miles as we took the wrong turning and ended up going towards Wessenden Head. Oh well, we still really enjoyed it.

Steady walk around the reservoir with fantastic views and plenty of places to have a rest if the going gets a bit strenuous. Very convenient car parks and well maintained paths.

Lovely Res to walk around. Great dog walking ( on a lead there are sheep) Good for birdwatching. Moderate to easy walking, other routes across the moor if feeling more adventurous.

Good free parking,we did the long walk(4.9 miles) along the reservoir, over the hills and back to the reservoir, hilly in places and a bit boggy but never the less a really good walk with some excellent views.

There's a choice of two car parks close to the reservoir. This is a pleasant, easy walk around the reservoir.
