We went on a weekday in the summer. I’d guess that’s better than a weekend. It was busy but not overcrowded.

No dress code that I saw. I would imagine that shoes and shirts are required.

As far as I know, there will be only one photo op from the boat. That would be the front of the mansion. As for the boat, I know nothing. We took the DCTrails bus tour with Charles Smith
