One of the most travel attractions is this Laxman Jhula. It has a mythological story mentioned in Ramayana. It was fun to cross the bridge though have to be beware of monkeys. Better not to carry anything in hand and keep children with you.

In October November badrinath doors will be closed by then. Howrah exp. runs daily from Kolkata to haridwar. You can still visit Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie and other nearby places.
