Worth getting up at dawn to see the sunrise. A lovely experience for everyone; a spiritual experience if you are so inclined. The views alone make it worth the trip.

Kunjapuri mata mandir is at a 90 mins drive from Rishikesh on the hills. Suggest one should take blessing from goddess. One would get a great view of the Himalayan ranges.

An early morning drive up to meditate as the sun rose over the Himalayas. I recommend the trip and taking time to savor the views and the peace here. A hike down to Neer Waterfall is also highly recommended. A beautiful day.

It is considered as one of the shakti-peeths and hence gets in the list of must visits. The approach road was under construction and hence was time consuming. Once you reach there, you have to climb 150-200 stairs so can be little difficult for elderly...More
