It was worth a trip but nothing entirely spectacular. We just came here to offer a few prayers, take some pictures, but nothing worth going back to.

This place is one of Zamboanga's attraction and should be definitely on your list when traveling here. An altar is here where you can go to worship and is definitely a serene place as long as the place is not jam packed with tourists and locals.

The Fort attracts tourist and locals. This is a good place for prayer. It showcase the value of a filipino that of being prayerful. The place houses the patron of safety where everyone prays for safety and protection. A must see for tourists to infuse in us all our unique culture and values as filipinos.

It was my first time to visit the place. I was with friends and collegues who were hospitable enough to tour us around the city. When we arrived there, it was like stepping on holy grounds. Such majestic statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary that stood in the center. People offering prayers and taking pictures of the place gave me... More

it is an open sanctuary of Marian devotees, where one can pray and enjoy the peaceful scenery. I sometimes attend the Eucharistic celebration there with my family, then, we solemnly light candles offer these to God.

Not much to do here unless you are religious, beautiful place though great for pictures. First timers in Zamboanga City might be disappointed. It is a quick trip from the city which is not so bad.

I like the place. We took many pictures here especially during sunset. You can also feed the birds. Kids can play here. It is worth the visit.

A reflection of the country's culture and heritage, Fort Pilar is a must-visit for both tourists and locals. According to legend the Virgin once protected locals from a storm.
