this seaside attraction boasts of several restaurants with varying menus and corresponding prices. we did not enter any.

we just sulked on the view, the sea meeting the sky from afar, with the sun ready to set in the twilight. there's a large signage naming the place as such and tourists can do several foto ops which we actually did.

paseo del mar is a good spot to while your time away, for free.

A nice place to go, it's a big park by the sea. Fresh air, beautiful surroundings, it has a center stage, a dancing fountain and children's playground. There are also many restaurants and food stalls. Good place to unwind and relax.

A place where we can relax and feel the night w/out a cost. We can spent our moment here together with our family, friends and love one's even w/out a big amount in our pocket. Entrance is free and always be free. You will also entertained by some native people especially kids who were used to swim underwater when you were/are going to throw them a coins of money. The dancing fountain, the different sounds and music sung by the local band singer/s and a low cost of foods and drinks offered by the different restaurants and food stand that make u feel the essence of taste in every bit of the food. Tummy is full and happy hmmmm i miss it!!!

I like to go here for the chill-out atmosphere of the place. It's like Roxas Bldv of Manila, where colorful light posts and restaurants are common. The place was always been secured by the PNP stationed at the entry/ exit gate. The parking lots are plenty and also secured. One of the attraction is the dancing fountain, but this limited based on their schedule. There are plenty of restaurants that offered live band play or acoustic. My top three (3) bar are the following:

Bar Code-If you want some good laughter, go between 8pm to 10pm where the famous "Landong Bisaya" share his bisayan version songs with a twist. The place is always crowded during week ends, so come early. I like their platter with various finger foods to choose from.

Distrito-Live band songs are a little bit rock and mostly modern songs. The place is very popular with the youth. Their grilled chicken is the best.

Carlitos-The newest addition in paseo located at the farther end of the area. Good place to it and chill-out for some acoustic songs, just don't get near the speakers. Best place is beside the sea, where you can feel the sea breeze and take a look at passenger sea vessels that passed-by the area.

Paseo del Mar locates itself, literally beside the sea, and it is actually a nice place to hang out with friends, family, and couples. Restaurants abound in this area, and many would just be there to relax and enjoy the night. This place is also filled with music where one could dance their way and enjoy their evening. Do not forget to try the Knickerboxers, a type of dessert of fruits and ice cream which I find surprisingly delightful and unique to Zamboanga.

Do not forget to witness the fountain show where there is a combination of water, light and fire exhibit all to the tune of some music.

Since this is a wholesome place for everyone, hard drinks are not normally available here, but there are bars outside where one can indulge in.

"Paseo del Mar"

Situated at the edge of the city and with a historic backdraft of "Fort Pilar", Paseo del Mar is one of the newest "party hub" in the city. While local and foreign tourist make their way to historic Fort Pilar, they are amazed by this lime stone fortress that withstood time and forces of nature. This fortress is also a place of worship for the faithfuls.

Adjacent to this spanish fort is a newly built Paseo del Mar, a modern and vibrant park that caters to all walks of life. This is a place where Zamboanguenos and visitors alike can relax, enjoy the food from different restaurants/restobars, listen to live accoustic sounds or be mesmirizes by the dancing fountain while witnessing the sunset.

It's funny, it took me a thousand miles to realized how beautiful and lovely my city is..
trully "there's no place like home".

Can't wait to come back!

Muchias gracias Zamboanga!

This is a cool place especially if youre a balikbayan for friends and family reunion because of the lively atmosphere and the zamboangueno feeling .There's live music at night and what's super nice is the dancing fountain that would really light up the attraction and it would go with the tune of zamboanga music which I find really entertaining . They would also include recent hits which is cool as well.If you visit zamboanga dont ever miss this and have dinner at ALAVAR seafood I love their dishes and its affordable. Entrance is free so all you have to spend for is food and 10 pesos I think if u wanna be upclose to the dancing fountain. The view of the bay is still relaxing as ever. The only thing that annoys me a little bit is because its a free attraction you would see a lot of people as in A LOT of people and students at night and as always in every crowded area you have to watch out your belongings .
