Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We've been coming back here for years. We’ve been to many places before, but the Seychelles doesn’t offer a nicer beach either. The entertainment options here are also better and despite the strong currency of Thai Bath the prices are not comparable either.

This long golden sandy beach is beautiful especially when the sun reflects off the water. The bars and restaurants are not full especially the ones further down the beach you go. The fire entertainers are in full swing as are the sellers but Ko Chang hasn’t been the same since covid. We will keep coming back as we love the island. ❤️

White Sand Beach is a beach with fine white sand as its name suggests. It is one of the must-see attractions if visiting Koh Chang once. It's especially busy here. Because tourists from all over the world come to sunbathe and swim in the sea, resulting in accommodation, resorts and restaurants with good atmosphere. Let us choose to sit and chill quite a lot.

ok i would start with the bad news. most of the days it was wavy but apart from this all other were ok. the beach was clean and very beautiful scenery while in the water (watching the mountains) . many restaurants, 7elevens, souvenir shops and also 3 big supermarkets near (makros you can walk and big C and a big 7-11 you need tuktuk or motorbike).
i will rate this and klong prao as the best and lonely beach as the worst (too too dirty, 10 single sleepers in 100m distance!)

Great open beach with nice clean sea. Suitable for all ages.
Un crowded and plenty places to relax.
Lots of places to visit for drinks and food along the front.

We stayed at KC Grande Resort three nights . We liked White Sand beach. The water was clean. The beach was nice. We swam in the morning and the evening. The wind was calm in May. The beach was good for families.

Its one of the best beaches we see with reality white sands and very clean beach, the sea is very limpid that you can see under your feet in it. We were there every day and swimming from noon until afternoon and then gone to sea food restaurant in sea side
Its very very good with best view of mountain, jungle and sunset...

I’m not really sure why this is listed as an attraction, but since it is, and we stayed there, here are my thoughts on it.

The beach is very clean (at least in November), and has a long quiet section to the north. Right at the northern end (passing through the Rock Sand Resort) is a rustic café run by a Thai family. The food is very nice, and well priced. The seafood places at the southern end have higher quality food, but again excellent and reasonable value. It’s a nice walk all the way along the beach, both at night and during the day.

The town has a few bars, and some more restaurants. For me it was the perfect blend between rustic originality, and commercial convenience. That is, you can get away from it all, in the peace and quiet, but also nip to the C-Store for whatever you need, or eat at a very pleasant restaurant.

I guess it won’t stay like that for long.

This is a must do if you get to White Sands Beach on the Island of Koh Chang. Tan is superb guide. He was the first to blaze trails on the island and shares his knowledge and love of the area as you hike. You will hike with people from all over the world (I met wonderful folks from Amsterdam, the UK and the USA).

You will have to be somewhat fit to partake in this particular trek as you do gain elevation and the heat can be crushing. You'll spend about six hours hiking, and two hours eating, swimming in the falls and relaxing. Tan's lovely wife prepared a traditional lunch that we were rewarded with at the top!

The views are well worth the effort. Looking down at the jungles of Koh Chang and the beautiful sandy beaches - picture perfect.

Unfortunately, the beach was full of plastic and many other things... certainly not a spot to swim and sun bath.

I decided to get some plastic bags from the front beach hotels and spent a couple of hours picking up nets, plastic bags, etc... I filled 4 big black garbage bags and brought them back to the hotels - they were thankful.
