Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited Koh Chang for during May last year the place can be compared to other islands in southern part of Thailand. Rented van from Bangkok to Trat, it took nearly 5 hours, then we took the ferry to get to the main island. Koh Chang is a relax place and has all the amenities for those looking for adventure like scuba diving, snorkelling or kayaking. All in all, a great place to visit, lesser crowd at a decent price.

It is around 3 km ( half an hours walk) from Kai Bae beach.. Alternatively , can be reached by Taxi / Byke in 5 minutes from KB Beach.. Road is pretty steep.. Don't carry food in your hand as you will definitely be attacked by monkeys..view from the point is really great, more so at the time of sunset.. One gets to see the other islands also from here.. A must see , if you stay at K B Beach..

Unfortunataly. Mu national park is closed, so there aren't options to visit the park. Covid might be the cose but that was unclear. Enjoy Koh Chang there's sooo much more to go for.

If you are on Koh Chang, this is a must. It's right on the main road and definitely worth 10-15 minutes to enjoy the views.

You'll know you are in paradise after visiting this place. Highly recommended and easy to get to.

A must see view point in the National Park. We visited on a clear sunny day when you could see for miles. It’s quite easy to get too and there is ample parking and some toilets to freshen up. The view of the small islands with canoeists and small boats on a turquoise sea is spectacular. There is even a red letter box there to make us Brits feel at home.

Lots of people are adding photos from the viewpoint on the hill between Klong Son and White Sands Beach. That isn't this viewpoint. This viewpoint is much further south down the island, just past Kai Bae.

They both look out on the same stretch of sea and they're both on the main road. But they're about 10-12km apart.

Anyway, best to go around sunset. Everything depends on how good the sunset is really. Bad sunset or no sunset, it's a 6/10 view. Good sunset and it's an 8/10.

On a drive around the island, we stopped here for a break. The view is simply gorgeous, and it was perfect photo weather - clear and bright. Well worth visiting on your next trip to Koh Chang.

Great pit stop. Here you can stop and relax and enjoy the great view over the ocean. Plenty of space to park the car and you can buy fruit, something to drink and eat. Scenery is breathtaking.
