Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lots of people selling horseback rides in central park. I went first thing in the morning and took a ride with a man named Gabriel. He was great. His English is great, he k we a lot of the history, we didnt feel rushed at all, and he was cheaper than the others guys. 25 bucks with tip for over an hour.

We had some time to stroll around town, and this is clearly the central point. Probably because of COVID it wan't too active, but it's a good place to see and buy local trinkets and try some local foods or drinks from several of the kiosks (if you haven't filled up on food in one of the restaurants.). Clean, safe, no one was pushy or bothersome.

Situated across from the Cathedral the Central Parque is an attractive square with trees and benches plus a central fountain and bandstand. Great for sitting and people watching.

Worth a look if you are in Granada. Local food and handicrafts for sale. Historic buildings surround the park.

The title really says what I need to say. Feels just as safe at night as it does during the day, the birds are amazing (The Screaming Trees!), and the people have such a nice vibe here. Come in the morning for a bit of a bustle and use that time to also ascent the cathedral bell tower.

Was able to stroll through a couple of times. Contributed to the local economy at several stalls of vendors. Took in the beautiful buildings around the parquet. Nice taste of the city

The park itself is rather small but it's location is great. We took from there a 1 hour horse and carriage ride tour which was excellent. There are a few food stalls and souvenir vendors. On the weekend evenings we listened to live music playing in the park and watched the people. We stayed at the Plaza Colon Hotel which is right in front of the park. It is a great hotel.
Granada was part of a 1 week private tour which also included Leon and Managua. It was organized by Luca who is the co owner of CA Travelers. The tour was very well arranged. The driver, Eddy, was very safe, punctual and very polite. The guide Jorge was very knowledgeable and informative. We felt very safe throughout our 1 week long trip in Nicaragua and enjoyed everything very much. And the prices are extremely reasonable.

We enjoyed the park, the live music one late afternoon, and the market that was set up to sell gift items and clothes, which were relatively well priced though much the same from vender to vender.
