It is a really little town in the middle of Belgium but very charming ! Take the tourist train to go to the "Esplanade" for a lookout of the entire little town. There is a lot of restaurant/hotel and a tourist information office to visits around.

This is a great place to visit it's so pretty and the restaurants and bars are great. It's really nice to be able to sleep in in the morning because it seems no one really lives in the old town so it's quiet.

quaint old town well worth a visit, including the topiary park. There is quite a big shopping/restaurant area - though parking is only for 30 mins so best to park out of town or outside the topiary park

You can travel back in time. Lovely place, nice people. Prices are a little more than they should be. Make sure you think of parking place. Be Carful with hotel bookings. Not all are what you see in the pictures Good food

Off course, its a tourist trap. But whats wrong with enjoying that for an hour? Overpriced but with nice little corners. Theres a piratebar with, again, far too expensive drinks, but a weird bartender/owner and interior. Enjoy Durbuy as a tourist. Spend your cash elsewhere.

We stayed in an Airbnb on a hill looking down into Durbuy. It was like a mini chateau. It was a 10 minute walk across the river to the old town. You need a car to be there though as the nearest supermarket is a few kms away. Lots of people kayaking. A good place for beginners as the rapids... More

I was trying to find my way to the hotel I booked, and asked a passerby to help me. As it happened that person was none less than the master-craftsman of Belmal malletier most exclusive trunkmaker, sort of a Belgian Louis Vuitton. Eventually he invited me to visit his atelier if I called beforehand, which I did the next day.... More

The first stop in the so-called smallest town (do they mean city because there are far smaller towns in Australia and elsewhere) should be the tourist office on the large square. They can provide you with an informative walking tour guide. It is a goodwalk from the car park on the outskirts of the town to the tourist office. Walk... More

There weren't much tourists, so that's a plus, but there wasn't much to do either. I think tuesday may be the closing day, but most shops were closed. Lots of places were for sale and only a few restaurants/bars were open. The view was amazing though (nice pittoresk houses), as was the picknick we had with a view over the... More
