All troops came through this harbour after D-Day. Some of the original infrastructure remains as a memorial to that period in history. 1822 OOS

Well preserved hardware from the D-Day landings such as a tank, 88mm artillery piece, anti-aircraft gun and a section of floating road. Fascinating.
