Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have been by here off and on for the past 7 years or so whenever in the area. Wonderful Rhone valley reds, to me they match the reds of the chateaunef du Pape. I have even enjoyed their house reds poured off their barrels in to my gallon jugs you bring with you! Now that's fun sitting out on your back garden watching the sun go down after a bike ride!

Anyway great wines here.

We discovered La Cave de Bonnieux last year. One of the wines we purchased at a local Super U grocery, had their name and address on the back of the bottle. As it turns out, they produce at least a red and a Rose under contract to the Super U, both house wines of the Super U called Utopia, which are excellent. Those wines of course one cannot buy at the winery, but are available nationwide in the Super U.

La Cave de Bonnieux is the local cooperative for the growers in the area, and make and produce a number of very nice wines, whites, rose, and reds, under various names, and in a price range affordable for everyone. They also have bulk wine available in 5 and 10 liter boxes, and have a wine station which looks like a gas station where you can fill your own containers of any size. It’s not uncommon to see restaurant owners there with several shopping carts full of such wine. They also have “Cremant or Sekt or Champaign type product from local grapes.

Parking is free, and there is ample places available, the winery is located on the access road from the D900 up to Bonnieux. It’s hard to miss with all of their roofs covered with photovoltaic panels to make electricity.

The staff is friendly, and helpful. Some speak English well enough you will be able to do most communications in English if your French is weak.

Nice though compared to wineries in the USA and Canada where wine tasting seems to be a business in itself, here in France the tasting is free, and you can taste a lot too. Seriously though, after all the tasting you should find something you like enough that you can buy a case or two to take home with you.

Fantastic Selection of local wine. Also enjoyed the lavender infused kir/sirop. Great selection of red and white most of which are awarded medals. It is the cooperative for all the local vines.

Stopped in here during our week in the Luberon and wished we would have visited earlier. The staff was very friendly and plenty of wines to taste.
However, what was impressive was the amount of well priced wines -- including wines priced by the liter you could pour into your own type of container -- or buy a liter or larger there. I can certainly imagine local restaurants purchasing in huge amounts as it was very cheap! During our stay while we had visited a few different wine tasting locations - -this was the only one with the ability to purchase in "bulk" -- which we found quite interesting.
Location -- parking was easy and plentiful and the building is right off the road. Additionally in the surrounding small streets we saw several home-stores selling honey and lavender.

We discovered this co-operative during our first stay in Bonnieux 2 years ago and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and range of reasonably priced wine on offer, compared to trying to find good wineries around the area. It was also good to have the tasting conducted by an assistant speaking English, as our comprehension of French is not very good or quick. We bought BiB red wine which we enjoyed during the rest of our holiday and several bottles of Revelation, red wine aged in Oak, to take home. We drank the last bottle of that just 2 weeks ago as a pre-cursor to this year's return to Bonnieux. It was still very good and we determined to return to the Cave de Bonnieux this trip.

Today we had just as good an experience and our assistant was very helpful in determining what our preferences for tasting were so we didn't trawl through more than needed. Her English was extremely good so we found it easy to understand the differences between the wines without feeling pressured to go for anything in particular. We were very satisfied with our choices of BiB and bottles of red and rosé but were then surprised by being given a gift of 3 bottles of Clapas rosé "to enjoy during your holiday!"

We will definitely visit again when we are next in the Luberon!

This Co-Op has wines from the Luberon, Ventoux, Mediterranee regions and is a good spot to taste these different appellations. Not great wines, and some are better than others, but at the price you can't really go wrong. Their Fontaine (wine dispensed by a hose) was doing a roaring trade while we were there, which you can also buy in 5L and 10L boxes. We did an extensive tasting, which is free, and ended up buying a mixed case plus a 5L box of the Luberon Rouge. Back at the villa the Luberon Rouge was declared a winner! A fun experience with good cheap wine!

Visited this place first in 2009, and I thought most of their wines were awful. Was just there a few days back and it's picking up. Also the service there is very good
