We rode the KD boat from Sankt Goar to Rudesheim as that was as far as it went upstream during the winter. Because it was off season, they only had a couple boats running and a very limited schedule so be sure to check with...More

We took the KD boat from Bingen to Braubach and this is probably the best section of the Rhine with the many castles, vineyards and quaint towns. It is a good mode of transportation if you are not in too much of a hurry. They...More

We sailed from Bacharach to Braubach to see Marksburg (Castle). The day was beautiful, & sailing down the river with local Riesling (or mineral water for the kids) was enchanting. We would go back to this area & activity. Three of the 4 of us...More

A trip down (and up) the Rhine on the over 100 year of shuffle boat is a MUST. So many castles to see on both sides of the river as you cruise on board of this ship. The staff is very friendly. Food and drinks...More

Hi Mike, I was just there a few weeks ago. I agree with the other posts but it's not like it's a cruise ship. They probably won't provide any glasses. Should save your bottle for the hotel
