- CrissaVLondon, United Kingdom403 contributionsGorgeous treat. This is one of Ischia's natural delights. Sit amongst the rocks and feel the thermal waters soothing your body. It has a lot of steps to get down to it and back up from, but it is worth it. Also better if you can get to it by car or dropped off nearby as the nearest bus stop is a bit of a walk away and it's extremely hilly. Enjoy, it's worth it.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 October 2023

Be aware of the steps, there is a nice bar half way down and one bar/restaurant in the beach. There is no shade and bring water shoes as the rocks are slippery. - realtyrockPompano Beach, Florida39 contributionsTake a day and pamper yourself. You will love this hiddenAbsolutely must do. We need a day of relaxation. Go ahead there at least 10 to 11 pools. We did a mud spa too. It was wonderful. We were relaxed. We had a wonderful lunch. The food was phenomenal. You can’t go wrong. Go to the island jump in a cab and go directly here and spend at least 6 to 8 hours.Visited September 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 16 September 2024

Too bad we were there in the summer. a nice little place but worth visiting. we walked the road from the bus stop for 10/15 minutes which could also be avoided by arriving before the steps there is a paid car park.
such natural sea corners are rare to find. The cold water mixes with the boiling water and the sensation sitting near the rocks is truly beautiful.
Clay face mask completes the morning.

We took the bus from Ischia Porto to Panza then walked down a steep hill, steep steps down to the sea at the bottom of the cliff.. There is a restaurant and bar set into the cliffs.
Fantastic hot sea water but no much room to relax after.
It's a difficult walk back.
This trip can be done by boat too not expensive.
It was a great experience and stunning views

The hot sources that come from the mountain and reach the sea make this spot a place where you can bathe even in january. My wife and I always stay in for hours, enjoying the view while feeling like when we take a bath in the tub!

Going to Sorgeto is definitely a unique experience. The landscape is beautiful and I highly recommend taking trip out there.
Getting there: We were staying in Ischia Porto and took a bus to Sant’Angelo, about a 45 minute ride. From there we took the water taxi to Sorgeto cost of 6 euros each way per person. It is possible to walk down as mentioned in other reviews and then take the water taxi to Sant’Angelo on the way back this way avoiding the 300 steps and walk back up the hill to catch the bus. Sant’Angelo is a cute little town and you can stop in the piazza for a drink before heading up hill to the bus stop.
The Hot Springs: in a corner of the cove there is a natural hot spring with several ‘tubs’ formed by natural rocks. The closer you get to the shore the hotter the water. One tub was so hot you could not enter it, it reminded me of a lobster being dropped into a pot of boiling water. The outer tubs mix with the sea water and therefore were progressively cooler as you moved further from the water source.
Recommendation: bring a pair of water shoes. The rocks in the tubs are slippery and have small barnacles so you need to be careful moving from tub to tub. Remember unlike Negombo and Poseidon, Sorgeto was not built to accommodate large crowds, it is a natural hot spring in a beautiful cove. Space is limited so it can get crowded.
There is a small restaurant which rents out umbrellas and chairs and their food was very good.
Overall a great way to spend the day and see a bit of the island.

Beautiful !So relaxing to bathe in natural thermal water within rocks in the sea! Steep walk down but worth it with a cafe at the bottom. Able to rent sun beds but free to bathe.

Where could my 3 fiends and I can catch a boat to your beach that isn’t too expensive? We will be there in May 2025. Thank you!
