Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This completely charming side of town is much nicer than the very touristy area across the square. Here is where the Trulli are still lived in. There is a small private house open for visits.

Recognized as another prominent trulli collection, this one is not as busy as Rione Monti or as commercial. Despite that, there is an impressive collection of conical, mushroom lookalikes here. I noted one trulli that was open to the public – I am not sure if there was a charge, but since I had been inside Trulli Sovrano, the largest, I did not venture in.

This smaller area of trulli does not have the overwhelming tourist business of the other side- thankfully!
More residential and some houses open to visitors for free.
A lovely area to walk around and get a better feel for what life was like in trulli-land!

The less commercialized area of Trulli in Alberobello. The streets are calmer and more peaceful and most of the trulli are still used as residences. Nice place to wander

This corner of the town constitutes the residential area where the trulli are inhabited or waiting to be renovated, where tourists are few and where the tranquility of the place is appreciated, worth visiting

Alberobello is a fantastic place but this district is the best: because it is not full of tourists, because it is not full of souvenir shops, because it is really quiet and special. What can I say... A jewel within a jewel!
