Visited during Greve-in-Chianti wine festival. Numerous small shops with locally made goods & products. Lots of flowers, with church at far end of piazza. Loverly way to spend an hour or two.

Good restaurants, shops and tourist information office are in this Piazza. We love to stay in Greve as a base for so many wine tasting opportunities in the part of Chianti!

The central square of Greve is very nice for a brief stroll and a look in the (expensive) touristy shops. Local cars park in the central bit of the square which isn’t so nice. Nevertheless, it’s still a very cute square in a cute town.

From what I see, there are two. The Chianti Classico festival in Geve in Chianti for 2018 it is held the 6th through the 9th of September. The Panzanno wine festival one week later.
