Great blend of Roman history and ruins. Lucky to be there when active dig was happening. Amazing to see what they are still uncovering. Worth the 5 euro.

Stunning place to visit and reasonably priced at €5 each, easy to find just followed the signs when we got closer to the destination rather than the sat nav. A must see if you're in Umbria!!!

It was nice to walk among the ancient Roman ruins, good that it had descriptions in English and that it's free for locals. Not good in a hot day. However, very interesting

Carsulae is an archaeological site that is located on the main route of the ancient Via Flamina. It was a way station where they were exchanged horses, but also had a small amphitheater, I know this place since I was Nambino and we often return...More

If you like bimbling around ruins this is perfect. We had the place to ourselves at one point and it was great for the children to scramble around the walls. The tomb that my son thought looked like a Trivial Pursuit wedge holder was very...More

I can't improve on the review posted by Marsique01! We last visited 20 years ago. It is so much better now. I love the fact it's a bit ramshackle. The atmosphere is quite special. The church is stunning - that was new to us. The...More

Having been led by an out of date guide book to expect a free visit, we were surprised to be asked to pay €5. It's difficult to see where the money is being spent! The labels around the site have all worn away and the...More
