You are able to travel almost everywhere on this battleship without the tour, but you will miss fun facts from knowledgable veterans. We toured the engine room and all of the associated areas. Then we wandered and wondered until we could hardly take another step. This is not a place to visit if you are afraid of tight spaces, you... More

Went here with my retired parents from out of town and my 5 year old daughter. History of Hampton Roads, military, oceanography, are all covered. Of course the USS Wisconsin is another huge draw. We spent 3.5 hours wondering were time went and much more I'd like to see but couldn't in that time.

This was a great way to spend the day with my family, loved it, it was very informative and parking wasn't an issue.

We went with three children and four adults. On the way home we talked about our most memorable place and all three children loved the battleship. We did THE guided tour. It is worth the money and the extra money you pay for the tour goes to maintaining the battleship which is part or American history. The Museum has interactive... More

Fun and educational day!!! The tour of the ship was very informative. The museum had hands on activities for the kids and had some very interesting pieces from the ship. Kids had a great time and were exhausted by the end of the day.

We did not pay for a VIP tour, but everyone who worked there was happy to answer any questions we had. The attached museum had a choppy layout, but ship's history was very interesting.

I love this place so much- I actually got married here because of it's connection to the military and it's awesome location. A lot of history is also on display so I recommend that people check it out and soak in the experience.

We took the ferry from Portsmouth Virginia. We are glad we did. They have a museum to check out, then the decommissioned USS Wisconsin. I enjoyed climbing around the USS Wisconsin. It gave me insite and perspective on how our service men and woman battled for our freedom. Visiting this site is an all day event. Go early, rain or... More

I will start by the sticker shock, the VIP package is over $30 per adult and the other limited package without your guide is $15 (with a family that can add up if on a budget). Small discount for kids. Went with the $15 package for all and left filled will knowledge, and appreciation for our service men and women.... More
