Chrysler's permanent exhibit draws us regularly to enjoy one gallery. But every time there is a special exhibit we have been blown away with the structure and display of the theme. Currently it is the works of Lalique, masterful! The museum tells the story in...More

Yes, this museum is small compared to “big city” museums— to my mom and I, that made it perfect! After a few hours in a museum, my brain begins to get overwhelmed. I like to enjoy and think about the art and collections I’m seeing....More

This place is definitely worth the price. After all, it's free! I was very surprised by the extent of the collection: European and American paintings; Modern, Ancient and Contemporary art; photography and, of course, it's excellent collection of Tiffany and Lalique glass...and all of it...More

Famous for its glass collection, the Chrysler also offers superb collections of paintings, sculpture, ancient artifacts (including Mayan and Greco-Roman), and furniture. The museum is larger than it first appears to be and its glass collection is second to none - all pleasant surprises, considering...More

Worth seeing if in the city, free to the public. Nice display of modern art and historical pieces. Small in comparison to most big city museums but the glass display is unique.

I have always enjoyed going to this museum. Its a more formal museum that has a very somber feel. Lovely architecture, and its always super quite. All kinds of art, and its seems to change from month to month.

Loved the glass exhibit! There were pieces made of glass that I didn’t even realize were glass, and so many beautiful pieces. The Central and South American exhibit was also interesting; fascinating to see items that are tens of thousands years old!

The museum has a very well curated collection that shares lots of information about the art pieces. Take time to read the placards next to the exhibits. While there are some very well known artists represented, there are some excellent less well known artists showcased....More
