I am so impressed that a community like Hampton Roads in Virginia has such an impressive zoo. This is a great place to visit and buy a membership so you can can often.

There is a diverse amount of animals. It is worth going to. The zoo has evolved over the years. There are enough animals to make it worth going to.

Just a great all around experience. Staff was friendly and animals were very active and exotic! Food was affordable and the gift shop has plenty to offer

We visited here on a recent trip to Virginia Beach in December. It was a very warm day and all the animals were outside. This is one of the best zoos we've been too! Honestly a diamond in the rough. We loved how it is...More

Came for a visit on a chilly fall afternoon. Had a great time walking around seeing the animals. Not too huge you need multiple trips to see it all. Highlights were the red panda, tiger, and nearly completed reptile house.
