A delightful haven of beautiful themed gardens, well designed and maintained. A "must do" for families and lovers of all types of flora.

Botanical Gardens is so tranquil I love going there & my family member doesn't live far so it's always a thrill to visit the garden of lights when I can.

The Rose garden can be smelled from the parking lot. We love to go around Mothers Day as the roses are at their prime. If you want to watch planes, they have a great observation hill, the kids can run around, they have beautiful azaleas and a lovely butterfly garden.

We went for the Festival of Lights in December. It was so beautiful and we each got a free cup of cocoa that we drank as we rode the Polar Express Tram through the path of holiday lights.

We went during their Christmas lights event. It was well put together but a little too expensive for what you get.

The Botanical Garden is a place for solace while wandering or sitting quietly, and a place to excite one's senses at any time of the year. The recent Garden of Lights was spectacular!

We spent a week in mid-December on the beach and had some abnormally great weather. Wanted to see the lights on the boardwalk and at Botanical Gardens along with other seasonal things. Norfolk Botanical Gardens Christmas lights were outstanding! Way better than Bull Run in Northern Virginia or boardwalk lights (but you still have to do if there)!! Understand you... More

If you have not driven thru the botanical gardens annual Christmas celebration of lights you are missing a treat. The wait may take an hour but it is well worth it. if you missed it this year, I urge you to give it a try next year. Our family had a great time.
