Came across this place by accident, its called a cave but it isn't really, it's nice and cool though inside with stone walls so it does feel like you're underground. We had a wonderful tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable about the entire port making...More

Yesterday we visited the Burmester Port Wine Cellars. Our guide was very knowledgeable, gave us a lot of interesting information but was never guilty of ‘information overload’. At the end of the tour we were shown to a tasting room and invited to sit at...More

When we visited this port lodge we had a good tour and tasting. Our guide was interesting and informative. The tasting did only offer 2 ports, which felt a bit mean. Lovely ports though

Short tour inside a nice looking building with great tastes of port at the end. 2 different options (with chocolate and without). Lots of selection to purchase afterwards if you want. Open later than many of the others.
