Such a cool setting for an alternative port tasting. This was our first stop on a little port crawl we were doing ourselves and we were greeted here by the loveliest host - as soon as we let her know we hadn’t a clue about port she spared no breath in explaining how it works and tips and tricks.
All of the art work in the venue is funky and retro and you can have a browse around while waiting for your port tasters to be ready. All excellently priced - I bought earrings and two tasting sets and it only cost €16 and the chats without host were free and really nice. We will send friends here for sure ! It’s in the heart of Gaia so one to put on the list

An "alternative" little gallery, set in an old warehouse in the heart of "port-land". We went for the port tasting and found a welcoming host and a fine sample of ports and cheeses. We chose the "basic" and "advanced" selections to share, along with two rustic cheeses from northern Portugal, tastefully presented. Our six ports, with the cheese cost approx 16 euros. We then browsed among the ethnic craft items, created by unassuming local arists and craftspersons, and bought presents for the family. Difficult to find but do persevere - such a friendly, welcoming ambience, as with so much of Porto.

Went here with a group of friends. A very unique and interesting experiance with lots of different art forms on display.
I found the painted maniquins very unusual, would have taken one home if it had fitted in the suitcase!!!!!

We visited this afternoon and tried a selection of their ports. It’s such a friendly, welcoming place and we stayed for a few hours. Great selection of art for sale and such a good vibe. The owners were super welcoming and lovely and our baby adored them.

If you’re looking for a quirky ambience to have a tipple then this is your place. The art gallery-cum-cafe serves all the delicacies you can expect from the port cellars but at a fraction of the cost (€10/12 euros a bottle!).

The niepoort is a different feel to the other mainstream ports you get elsewhere too so grab yourself some Tawny Dee and Van Gogh down to this Gallery. Just make sure not to drink too much as you’ll have to visit Le Louvre.

What a great find in a wonderful town. Lovely ports to sample, great handicraft. We spent two hours with two young children and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit

We looked for this place, following a tip from the Rough Guide! It was totally worth it! Nice decoration, exceptional items and artwork for sale, reasonable prices and extra friendly staff! Excellent port wine served here also! Look for this place if you're looking for something different!
ps. Loved the Arting Crazy bookmarks!

Came across this mix of an art gallery stroke gift shop when walking back from Taylor's port tasting. There is also a cafe here. Ok for a ten minute look.
