Can't fault this day - boarded at 8 am and were given our dining table, where we met some lovely fellow travellers. After a small breakfast of fresh rolls, butter, jam, orange squash and coffee, we were free to wander about the boat and go...More

Overall a wonderful day. One can't complain about sailing up the Douro in sunshine. The scenery was beautiful and as we got closer to Regua we started to see the terracing interwoven along the adjoining hillsides, everything I had hoped for and expected to see....More

Delightful trip along the Douro through two ship locks while a superb lunch with amazing silver-service (it would grace any five star hotel) was being served. Very drinkable red and white wines which continued flowing right up to when the ship docked at the end...More

We asked our concierge for a port tasting day. We’ve done south aftrica France Italy Napa Sonoma and others and expected some range of tastings and learning about the product of port. That part of the tour, thru one port house called Martha’s, was rushed...More

We wondered what we had let ourselves in for with a early start from our hotel and the promise of breakfast. We could have eaten more than the roll and breosh we were given. But the coffee was good and kept coming. The river close...More

This was a cruise along Douro, culminating in vineyard visit. Due to poor organisations we had to wait fr 2 hrs at lock resulting of vineyard visit cancellation. The trip itself is rather uninteresting,, food is poor quality, served cold, waiters swiftly removed leftover wine...More

This was definitely not worth 250 euro. We booked a two day cruise, and were expecting (as per video and advertisements) stops for wine tastings, and walks through quaint towns. What we experienced was an overcrowded vessel without nearly enough seating to enjoy the cruise...More

I seldom write negative reviews but feel compelled to warn others about these cruises. We took the 2 day cruise with overnight accommodations in a hotel. The hotel was very nice and our dinner was good, however, the cruise part of the event was NOT...More
