Cosy town

The white town with blue flower pots. Simple, but it works. Great city with lots of atmosphere, small shops, and restaurants.

Beautiful plaza in a very quaint relaxed town. If you can, go on a Saturday as Flamenco dancers perform at noon.

Take the 20 minute bus ride from Fuengirolla to Mijas pueblo and find a truly beautiful typical Spanish town. The plaza is full of places eat and relax. Take a tour of the bullring to get a real feeling of the spectical that takes place there. Wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and coast, believe me well worth that... More

Mijas is a cute little town to visit, wandering through the shops and seeing the nice views. We enjoyed sitting along the plaza and enjoying a cold beer. Prices are reasonable and you can get some nice tapas, too. We did not take a donkey taxi, but if you can't walk too much it would be an easy way to... More

This small town painted all white had so many attractions and cultural interests. Just up the street to the left, one of the oldest bull fighting rings and continue above and around to the grotto where the Virgin of Pena was discovered. We happened there during the celebration of the Virgin and it was a delight. All around this Plaza... More

If you visit only 1 bullring in Spain, make it this one. It is small , intimate and a bit claustrophobic. Clearly rarely visited by tourists ( unlike the grander ones in Seville and Ronda) it conveys a real sense of brutality and proximity to the " action" . We didn,t go and see an event , nor would we... More
