This was a rich family private chapel.Still it is so rich inside that it is hard to believe that just one family worshipped there. The structure is also quite interesting.

Built as the personal chapel of Francisco do los Cobos, it is a magnificent Renaissance structure with a most impressive choir screen. It is just one of the impressive buildings that make up the Plaza de Vazquez de Molina.

You should spend some time in this elaborate church if you visit Ubeda. Contrary to another TA reviewer, I would get the audio guide - yes it does give a lot of info, but you might miss some interesting highlights if you do not. Check...More

Francisco de los Cabos was Secretary of State to King Carlos V. He amassed enormous wealth during his lifetime and built this amazing chapel as his mausoleum. The chapel is prominent on the Plaza Vasquez de Molina, which is the World Heritage town's primary historical...More

This place is definitely worthwhile visiting. I'd recommend to skip the audio guide as it simply offers too much info.

If you have not seen the Mesquite of Córdoba or even better the cathédrale of Toledo, this is a good alternative. Except the magnificent central Chapel and Sacristy and the history behind, there is not much else to see. The entrance fee includes the audio...More

This is possibly the best known sight in Ubeda but the interior was quite stunning. Not to be missed.

This chapel is amazing. Even knowing that you can only be crazed by the size of the choir. A must see and the audio guide will provide a lot of information.

This is one of the most impressive churches/chapels we've seen. It may or may not be your taste, but it is colourful, very well preserved and very interesting. The facade is the landmark of the square.
