- TrevhyBirmingham, United Kingdom223 contributionsLovely beachAt first glance you see all the people on it you think oh my god but you will find a space as it’s 2 km long . very relaxing although the sea not as safe as they like to make out a rough sea with riptides the week we were there. But it didn’t spoil it just make sure you take heed of the lifeguards and don’t take chances .Also there is parts of the beach with access for the disabled with adapted wheel chairs and beach chairs. And callo millor is very flat in itself which was a priority for us as wife has had heart failure.Visited June 2023Written 10 July 2023
- Alan SDalkeith, United Kingdom17 contributionsYou must check out the beachThe beach is absolutely beautiful, it is a lovely walk and there are plenty of bars and cafe's. Try it, you'll love it. The beach is approximately 2 miles long, you can watch people playing boules or other games there are watersports for the active or just a gentle stroll.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 July 2023
- Sand MPerth, United Kingdom751 contributionsVery prettyThe beachside at Cala Millor is just so nice. There is a large expanse where you can sit on the sand and have easy access to the water or there are rocks further along if you prefer to sit on rock. There is also a place in the water for surfing as the waves come in thick and fast. There are different sunbeds that you can hire for the day or you can just take a towel. It’s totally up to you. The sun in the morning and early evening is more bearable than midday so be careful if you don’t have shade. There are plenty of eateries along the beachfront also. Cheaper if you go a couple of streets inland thoughVisited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 24 September 2023

We visited Calla Millor/ Bona in late october which by then, to be honest it wasn’t much of a beach. They clearly do some form of beach natural defence/ replenishment in low season causing sand to be dirty, thick and not enjoyable. The sea is calm on most occasions however I recommend going especially when the sun is fully shining and the sea is beautifully blue.

Beech is so disappointing - eutrophication looks like an oil sleek and it smells! So disappointing I’m leaving.

Must be the time of year, but there are literally mountains of seaweed everywhere, and to get into the sea you are wading through it - I know it is a natural product but I’ve been to other beaches in Spain where the councils have actively cleared it. Add to this the lack of cleaning along the beach, cigarette butts everywhere, again been to beaches where the sunbed teams are constantly clearing and taking a pride in their areas - will not be returning to this part of Majorca - Cala Bona is just as bad. Very disappointed

We four times travelled to Mallorca for holidays. This year, we tried Calla Millor.
Usually, there are waves, not like the other parts. This is not really suitable for swimming. The beach sidewalk is narrow. Middle of sidewalk running the bike way. This is not comfortable for peaceful walking.

The beach was dirty and a lot of cigarettes are buried in the sand. Another unpleasant discovery was the amount of plastic in the sea when swimming there. Cala Millor is a tired tourist resort that definitely needs a break from European tourists.

Very nice sandy beach with plenty of umbrellas and beds. Desperately missing a bar and food outlet, maybe an opportunity for someone, and maybe a few jet skis, a banna boat or something like that.

Hi I’m due to arrive on the 25-7-23 staying in the protur bonamar hotel I’ve read that Cala Millor beach is better than Cala bona is there areas where u can sunbathe with just your towel and not rent a sunbed for the day also is there some quieter spots along the beach we’re it isn’t as busy

Hi , please tell me when the sunbeds/sunshades are being put on the beach please , thank you.
I am due to travel to Cala Millor begining of September 2020, just wondering if anyone has been there recently and can say what it is like there at moment while the covid pandemic is on, thank you

I was there in late February, right before the lockdown. I think that Majorca in general is fairly safe during this pandemic, and I would think that all hotels take precautions to keep tourists safe and healthy.

can anyone tell me how long it would take to walk along the prom from Cala BOna (staying at Bonaire Protur) to the beach at Cala Millor? Many thanks (also is it a flat pretty beachfront prom all the way?)

The walk is for about 20-30 minutes when a person has stopped at a shop or cafe for so long 😊

I'm in Cala Millor from next Tuesday(25th June for 8 days holiday. I have a couple of questions regarding sunbeds on the beach. I'm a solo traveller, so is it possible to hire just the one sunbed & parasol for the day (I ask this because the sunbeds are usually in pairs). Secondly, are there lockers available on the beach?
My final question is, is it ok to leave the sunbed for lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants? I'm presuming once you've paid, you get a ticket which serves as proof? Is it normal etiquette to leave your beach towel on the sunbed whilst going for lunch/walk/swim?
Thanks in advance. Cant wait to be in the sun!
