Worst Escape Room Experience

I emailed to try and alter the timing of the booking however I received no reply. Also the Instagram page is private which seems strange for a business. I requested to follow to be able to send a message, but this was not accepted in time. It took us walking to the location to find a mobile number on the door.
We were booked for 1800 and arrived just before, expecting the premises to be open and ready for us. As we were walking up to the premises, a female was also arriving to open up. We were therefore waiting while she was opening up, turning the lights on etc. In our opinion she should have been there early to have everything prepared for our booking. It came across as we were an inconvenience to her day, from which she later said she was having to go from here to her second job once finished.
We were provided with hardly any back story and introduction to the room.
The hints given on the radio were not of the quality and value we have had before at other venues. Plus, they were not really hints, she was basically telling us what to do and where to look. It was also extremely difficult to understand the female. On one occasion, we radioed for help and were never replied to for 5 minutes until we shouted up again. She said this was because she was setting up another group next door. In the case of 2 bookings, there should be 2 members of staff on. We wasted time waiting for a reply from her.
We later found out that the room had been sent up wrong, with the yellow ball being placed in the incorrect location in the metal tube. Because of this, it would never have dropped down, meaning we would never have been able to get one of the required keys. I am not sure how you can charge €50 for an experience that we had no chance of ever completing.
We had a photo taken at the end but were never sent it or told how we can view it.
To top it off, once we had arrived back at our hotel, we received a phone call from a very rude male, presumably the owner. He accused of us stealing two items from the room which we later found out were in a drawer that the female had not pulled out enough to see. She admitted this herself. We also raised the issue of the room being set up wrong, but no care or apology was given.
It was not like any escape room that we gave completed before. It was purely just a game of hide and seek looking in different places for keys.

We went back to complain and there was no offer of goodwill until I asked for half of the money back. We were given this, however were made to feel guilty when the female said that it would then have to come out of her own pocket.
She also provided excuses that the owner is stressed due to selling the business which she should probably not have disclosed. Once again, this is not a valid excuse.

The perfect way to break up the day

I took my children and their friends and they absolutely loved the House of Mystery! The team was helpful and they managed to escape within the time. It was a perfect way to break up the day with a group of children and we will defiantly be back to try Prison Break! Thank you

I had an absolutely amazing time here, great team building or day time activity. We didn't stop laughing the whole time. I've been to alot of escape rooms in England and this is the best. Would definitely recommend.

Not something you’d probably think of doing when coming to magaluf usually but I’d highly recommend was a great laugh! Me and the boys had a quality laugh and for €20 for a hour of laughter that’s cheap to me!

Great laugh, very challenging and a good day out for all of the family. We did the prison break room and even though we didnt finish, we had so much fun. There is another room which was easier, we should have probably picked this one in hingsight, LOL.

What An Absolute Amazing Experience For All Ages... 😂🤣 I Have never laughed so much at trying to solve out all the puzzles. It’s such a Team effort and a race against time... I highly recommend this event and is a must visit place! Friendly Staff, Amazing Experience & Outstanding Prices! We will be back 100%

I had such an amazing time, really got my brain working, we started off slow but soon picked it up. Prison break. Deffo recommended. And the host was great, really got involved and set the scene, BLOODY BRILLIANT.

We had a fantastic time here, two couples went as it was something different to try and there’s nothing else like it on the island and we weren’t disappointed, great day, good fun and very challenging.

Would defo recommend a visit when in magaluf.

Fantastic Escape Rooms

We recently did both the Prison Break and the House Of Mystery Rooms. They were both brilliant but I think the House of Mystery just shades it. Very cleverly put together. Would definitely recommend for groups of 4-6 on holiday. 👍🏼
